I’m excited to partner with the Valspar Championship on this post!
The 2019 Valspar Championship, part of the PGA Tour, is coming March 17-24th and already creating buzz here in Tampa Bay! I personally attended the 2017 Valspar Championship, and while I know literally nothing about golf (other than how to hit one out of ten balls more than 3 feet at a driving range), it was STILL an awesome experience!
The Valspar Championship is part of the FedExCup competition and is historically held at Copperhead Course at Innisbrooke Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, FL. While this is a well renown course and tournament in the golf world, this tournament is about so much more than just golf!
There are plenty of things to do and see at the 2019 Valspar Championship tournament, so I’ve outlined a quick list to make sure that even us non-golfers have the best time!
Plenty of Places to Eat, Drink and Relax
From the Publix Chillounge to the Hooters Owl’s Nest, there’s no shortage of places to grab a drink and a snack. Josh Cellars Grape & Grain wine, beer and spirits emporium is open to all fans and located between the 9th green and 10th hole. Frenchy’s Pool Party is located at the clubhouse pool deck yb the 18th hole, and will feature all of your local favorites from the Clearwater, FL staple restaurant. Chill out in the colorful Valspar COLOR SPOTS with plenty of seating and hammock areas in the on-course concession areas, or relax and refresh (and look at tiny homes!!) at the Valspar BLOCK PARTY area behind the 18th hole. If you’ve got kids (P.S., kids under 15 years old get in free with a ticketed adult), you’ll find a complimentary rock climbing wall, putting course, and sand pits at the Northwestern Mutual family fun zone.

I’m not just saying this because the course is beautiful (and some golfers aren’t so bad to look at either 😉 ) but there are also Valspar SHOT SPOTS located around the course so there’s no shortage of perfect selfie opportunities!
See Brad Paisley at Valspar LIVE
One of the biggest names (besides the golfers) performing at the Valspar Championship this year is country legend Brad Paisley, who will headline Valspar LIVE presented by Chick-fil-A on Saturday, March 23, 2019. Saturday tournament ticketholders are invited for this complimentary concert!
Fan-Girl Your Heart Out (or Fan-Boy, obviously)
There are plenty of places to find the aforementioned [cute] golfers, from the Tampa Bay Times Autograph Alley where you can catch your favorite PGA TOUR pros to the Valspar Championship Expo Pavilion where you’ll find displays by tournament sponsors.
How to Get Your Tickets:
I’m super excited for all of the amazing vendors and experiences that the 2019 Valspar Tournament has to offer, and I hope you get the chance to experience it for yourself! For your convenience, you can grab your tickets online through programs like an event ticketing software.
Tickets purchased in advance are only $39 per specific day, or $49 good any one day (Thursday-Sunday) and $125 for a weekly badge and can be purchased at www.valsparchampionship.com.
Active duty and retired military receive complimentary admission, and kids under 15 are free with a ticketed adult.
