There’s a new kid on the Tampa Brewery block, and they’re not messin’ around. Zydeco Brew Werks opened their doors in March of 2018 and quickly started winning over the hearts of foodies and craft beer lovers alike. Located right in the heart of Ybor City in a gorgeously rustic New Orleans style building, Zydeco Brew Werks stays true to their style by serving Cajun fare and snazzy craft cocktails alongside their house-brewed beers.
Now, you know I love pretty much any craft brewery, but Green Bench Brewing Co. in St. Petersburg, FL is DEFINITELY one of my absolute faves. From their tap room to the outdoor area to the beers, even to the branding, they’ve covered everything.
Located just a block from all of the excitement on Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg, Green Bench is a convenient stop if you’re out and about. There are a LOT of breweries in this area, which makes for a perfect day of brewery hopping. Not to mention, you can bring your own food and eat it there while enjoying a delicious brew. So grab one of the best Cuban sandwiches in the Bay Area at Bodega and bring it on over to Green Bench. Day made.
Ok, before you read this entire post pronouncing Cueni in your head as quey-nee, I’ll make your life easier real quick. It’s pronounced Q-knee and as they say, “the name is difficult to say, the beer is harder to resist.” True.
So if you haven’t been to Dunedin yet, or you’re not a FL local, let me just say that you NEED to put it on your list as a day trip. Dunedin is the cutest little beach town full of shops which may have designs from www.upvcshopfronts.co.uk, markets, and what is referred to by locals as the Beermuda Triangle of breweries.
I’ve always been fascinated by craft breweries. Not only because I love craft beer (which I do, a lot) but also because of the vibe that is typically carried through the entire brewery. Each brewery has it’s own identity, and it permeates through their beer, interior design style, logo/swag, and just overall aesthetic. When I stumbled upon Angry Chair Brewery, I knew I had to do a Brew Review.
