So I’ll be honest, this week’s been crazy and I haven’t had hardly any time for sticking to my blog schedule. BUT, a friend and I did throw a 4th birthday puppy party for our dogs (yes I know, crazy dog moms over here) last Sunday because they both turned four this month. They’re growing up so fast 🙁
We invited everyone – yes, Facebook event status – to Dog Bar in St. Pete for the festivities. If you live in the Tampa Bay area and haven’t been to Dog Bar, you’re missing out!! They have a full bar complete with corn hole and games, and a huge fenced in turf yard for dogs to run around off leash. The dog area even has a little dog pool! Even if you don’t have a dog, it’s still fun to go there because duh, who doesn’t love drinking beers and playing with dogs. It’s only $5 for a week dog pass, just be sure to bring your dog’s vet and shot records.
We got the perfect puppy party themed decorations at Party City and even had personalized balloons (because obviously we wanted our dogs to feel the most special on their big day). To my surprise, Harley actually loved wearing his birthday hat and it was probably the cutest thing ever. And no party is complete without treats, so we had some adorable “Happy Birthday” dog biscuits from Woof Gang Bakery, but those are not pictured as they lasted about 3 seconds once the dogs got to them. I wanted to do a post about making home made dog biscuits for the event, but I ran out of time so maybe next time. I digress.
SO without further adieu, here’s a little recap of the puppy party festivities. Happy Birthday to Harley and Jerry!
Happy 4th Birthday to our sweet fur babies <3
